Ambassador Competition

We invite all young men and women who are residents of Durham and/or surrounding area and are between the ages of 15-19, to enter the Durham Homecoming Ambassador Contest. The contest will take place on June 30 at 7:00 p.m.

This is an exciting opportunity to represent our town at the Homecoming Events AND to also hold the distinct honour of being the Ambassador for our 150th birthday celebration year.

Beard Growing Competition

Back by popular demand, we present to you the Durham Homecoming Beard Competition. Men from Durham and area have thrown away their razors and let the facial hair grow wild. Participants started growing on January 30th and will continue until June 30th where the winners will be crowned.

Beards will be judged in the following categories:

Biggest/Bushiest Beard
Longest Beard
Best Groomed Beard
Whitest Beard
Reddest Beard
